2003 AGM
Cybersoc organises a number of events throughout the year, such as BYO
Computer events at uni, events at gaming cafes, and inter-uni events of
various nature. We also organise social gatherings such as BBQ's
throughout the year, and build commercial affiliations so that discounts
can be offered to members at certain venues or on subscriptions.
Cybersoc will be holding its Annual General Meeting in week 5. This is a
chance for members to learn about how to become more involved in Cybersoc,
and run for positions in the executive committee and the council.
A (rather long) description of the positions available is given below.
If you wish to run for a position, please nominate yourself, by sending
an email to cybersoc@cse.unsw.edu.au, stating the position you are
running for, and any other details you feel may be appropriate. (Such as
a statement to read out if you are unable to attend the meeting)
These nominations must be received through email by 9am, 1st April.
- Where: K17 (Computer Science Building) Seminar Room, level 1
Grid Reference K17 on the MAP
- When: 1:00 Tuesday Week 5 (1st April)
Remember, the more involved people Cybersoc has, the more events we can run
